I think my fish are bored of eating flakes and pellets all the time, is there a easy recipe that I can make for my fish. Coz I heard that some people make human food recipes for their cats and dogs, and I was wondering if I could feed my fish human foods. {Btw, I have a lot of goldfish}..

Well, a Goldfish's attention span only lasts about nine seconds. So everytime you feed them, it's like they're getting fed for the first time. So I doubt they're getting bored.

If you really want to treat your Goldfish, here's a site that talks about all the different kinds of things that they'll love to eat and that'll keep them healthy too:

Hope I was helpful.

We feed our fish flakes...and every other night we give them blood worms and brine shrimp. They absolutely love it. Its a treat and a healthy meal. We bought them at a pet store...And got a whole lot for the money. You cut half a cube of each with a knife and let it sit in a saucer to thaw. Cause its frozen. You place it in a zip lock bag and keep it frozen at all times. Give them that and watch their joy. we started this when we bought little frogs to add to our tank. We were told frigs like this. But found they also like the flakes. So between all our fish. They share this great smorgasbord. Pardon, if that spelling is wrong. But, you know what I mean. Bon' A Petit'

There's no need to make food, many fresh foods are already available and healthy as supplements (keep the pellets/flakes as a staple).

Brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, plankton and krill, bloodworms (insect larva), cyclops, daphnia, black worms, white worms, and tubifex worms are all available frozen and freeze-dried, and sometimes live.

For veggies you can go with shelled peas, chopped, wilted spinach or leafy lettuce (not iceberg), or little bits of zuchini or cucumber, blanched to soften for smaller fish.

Goldfish are herbivores, they like plants. To break up the monotony you can toss in some crushed pieces of lettuce or something but as they are not meat eaters most of the fish food recipes you will find won't apply.

Well, you're not going to serve them a fat juicy steak, they wont know what to do with that. If they're not really eating the food you already give them, i.e. fish food, then try a different brand.
Cats and dogs are vastly different than fish in that they don't eat while underwater, which would be a challenge to overcome while trying to come up with what to make.

I make my goldfish a gel food using baby food, fresh veggies, tuna and a few other ingredients. Check this site out, http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/4468/recipes.html
It explains what the process is and has a couple recipes. Once you know what to do you can make your own recipe.

goldfish like peas -- just buy them frozen, remove the outside shell and chop them up to pellet size. spinach is good too -- just boil it for 2 minutes and chop it up pellet sized too.

Fishes eat fresh grass. You can cut some up very finely and they will love it!

Have fun!
