1.) The country is more important than any one person.

2.) The government should work closely with people who already own things but use the resources to build up the army or other parts of the country.

3.) It should be crime to speak against the leader.


- It is ok to sacrifice a few lives to save or inprove that of many.
- We need to protect the country and make it strong.
- We need to do what we can to help strengthen the leader, and elevate the country.

Very vague, but generally okay.

What do you mean by #3. Are you saying no one should ever criticize or question the leader? Or just that people shouldn't disrespect or threaten the leader?

sounds utilitarian to me. I dont agree with utilitarianism. take for example Lets say u are on an airplane with your dad on your way to your vacation destination. Sitting next to you is a guy who is on his way to a famous medical facility because he has just found a cure for cancer. Youre flying along enjoying your peanuts when all of a sudden the plane starts going down. Feelings of panic flood through you when you discover that there are only enough parachutes to save yourself and one other person. What do you do? Utilitarians say save the guy with the cure since hes of better use to the GROUP, but really what is ethical? Could you leave your dad in the plane?

Most of those are un-American viewpoints. Americans are traditionally very individualistic. What makes that not absolutely horrifying is our Judeo-Christian ethic, our moral commitment to care and concern for others.
