my ob told me because i have pcos.... the cyst block the eggs from dropping... and the eggs that dont drop become hard and become cysts.. so that might be the prob.. if you are worried about it talk to you dr hhtye can do an unltra sound to see how bad the cyst are and if that is indeed the problem.. i have a husge cyst on left ovary and i became pregnant, so it is possible.... there might be other complications with you talk to your dr!

I have heard that ovarian cysts can make conceiving very difficult. I have struggled with cysts and problems for years. Most doctors have told me that I would be infertile or that I will have a really hard time. I don't really believe everything the doctos say though. My aunt has suffered from polycystic ovarian syndrom and had children without even trying. I think we should just not give up hope... I've heard that if you work really hard to keep your weight down and eat healthy most of the fertility problems with cysts will go way down. Are you trying to have a baby? Well if you are good luck!! I have my fingers crossed and praying that i'm pregnant right now.... just gotta wait and see!

The whole you can't get pregnant while you have a cyst is so much a lie. I had a cyst while I was pregnant with my middle daughter and my baby boy. I guess it depends on the person but I didn't have any problems or anything due to them and had no issues becoming pregnant with them. And the previous post of a result of not ovulating, not true. Or I wouldn't have my two children.

My aunt had one ovary removed due to a cyst and a large one on the other and had 4 pregnancies (3 children).

But it depends on what is causing the cysts.

Ovarian cysts are a result of not ovulating, which yes, would cause problems getting pregnant since no egg means no baby.
Do a search for PCOS, tons of information there.
