Drop them in a Vat of Hydrochloric and Sulphuric Acid, wait until they are nothing but a gooey mess from the melting they suffer, then grind them into powder and then put that powder inot a rocket and fire it into the hert of the sun!

Well I think that in the true democratic tradition we should vote on it. This of course would only be workable in the West where democrasy and freedom are cherished above all else. With the internet we could get people to vote on a range of different methods and base their choice an the newsworthyness and severity of the crime.

So for example if a Muslim car bombed the American Embassy in London we could award a Knighthood and a KFC (protecting his/her human rights), whereas if it were an American Soldier shooting innocent babies by 'accident' in Iraq we could have him/her put forward as the next Republican Presidential candidate.

Death in its various guises should be reserved only for the innocent noncombatant civilian population - Nationality is of course irrelevant.

As for Middle Eastern coutries, voting and democracy are looked down upon as instruments of the Great Satan - so this would more than likely be solved through the Clerics - they've had lots of practice already. Beheading seems the most popular method, although who knows what twisted sadism could be thought up with couple of tokes on a bong and a copy of the Koran.

Oh I just though of this - it would be absolute torture, it would result in insanity and would be definitely fatal from internal organ collapse and loss of the will to live: - Make the 'Terrorist' watch back to back clips of all the TV appearances of GW Bush from the last 8 years - eyelids stitched back, ears syringed etc. Vogon poetry Texan style!!!

They shouldn't, most terrorists are dedicated to a cause to a point where they will embrace death to advance their cause. Executing one will simply create a figurehead for the remainder to hold up as an ideal.

Imprison them, defeat their ideal. A martyr will create more terrorists, a prisoner will get worn down. By not being able to effect the world, not being able to be involved with his cohorts. It removes the importance he gained as a terrorist, both as a threat and a hero, when the man is broken he cannot be a martyr, only an example.

This is a horrible question! A terrorist to 1 person is a freedom fighter to another. You should have asked how would you kill someone not spesified a group of people who are already misrepresented and been pinned to 1 racial origin.

while I believe in the death penalty and would like to see its return in the uk, I do believe it should be done quickly and cleanly. so lethal injection.
hanging is barbaric and reduces us to the same level as the persons who should be "put down"
I also think it would be kinder to do the same for anyone who is locked up for the rest of their life; assuming that they are proven guilty beyond all possible doubt!
