I'm a 12DD/14DD (Australian Size) and am wondering whether i should be wearing a normal bra or a sports bra or something without underwire. Is it in my best interest to buy maternity bras yet or wait until closer to my due date?

Why buy maternity at all? Especially once you're done being pregnant. Thats just silly.

Wear whatever size and style fits and feels best. Ive been wearing regular underwire bras this whole pregnancy. I like the support of a full coverage underwire. Granted my giant size is hard to find... lol.

Buy nursing bra's late in pregnancy or right after the baby is here, if you're going to buy anything. Or better yet, get a nursing tank once you're near your due date. That will tide you over until your milk regulates and you can buy a bra that will fit for longer than 2 weeks.

You don't have to buy a maternity bra at all unless you want to. I was comfortable in my regular bra all three times. If you are talking about a nursing bra, you won't have to wear that until after the baby is born.

As long as the bra is comfortable, not too tight or small, you can wear just about any type of bra. They actually make maternity sport bras as well as ones with underwire, so neither of those factor in. Be sure to get your measurements checked if your not sure of the fit, as you will definitely be growing. Also, as far as maternity bras go, you can buy maybe one or two now if you find them more comfortable, but I would wait, until closer to your due date. You will increase in size up to when the baby is born as the milk production starts it's beginning steps and then of course once the milk is in. Feel free to go up a size if you are buying now. One size should still be functionable as well as comfortable and you are less likely to grow out of it. I bought myself two maternity bras recently (i find them less abrasive on my sensitive nipples) but I made sure that I checked my size and then I went up one cup size for extra space. I love them and am planning on getting one or two more soon.

Don't wear underwire. You can use regular bras, but buy the extenders for the clasps because you won't realize how you're body is stretching your bras out until they're ruined. Or go a head and buy maternity bras.

maximum women have not got any choose for a maternity bra. you won't choose it. besides the undeniable fact that, in case you think of you may, evaluate getting a bra it fairly is a mixture maternity/nursing bra (in case you propose to nurse). the subject with underwire bras is they are able to press on milk ducts which could strengthen your probabilities of coming up a painful breast an infection.

When your regular bras do not fit anymore. I bought mat. bras that were larger than my normal size and a bigger cup size. You don't want anything too tight and uncomfortable. It is better to have them so that you can easily undue the snap (preferrably with 1 hand.) As far as the underwire part that is up to you. There are mat. bras with it and without it. It is whatever is comfortable and not too tight on you. Good Luck. Bravado makes really nice ones.

Nursing bras are often more comfortable, but not necessary, during pregnancy. Go try some on and see what you think. It really doesn't matter what kind of bra you wear at any point, but if you are breastfeeding, a nursing bra is much easier than a regular one.

If it's comfortable for you to wear a nursing bra now... go for it. Find a really comfortable one, and don't be afraid to spend some extra money. Don't expect your boobs to stay the size that they are now, so maybe buy one or two for now and wait until the baby arrives and you milk comes in before you buy anymore.

Ive never bought a maternity bra or underwear. Its not necessary. I have bought nursing bras for using after the baby is born while Im nursing, but that is for convenience.

I just bought 1 bigger bra while pregnant. I used a maternity bar for nursing.

Do wha you feel comfortable doing.
