I have a Seagate 9W2681 External Hard Drive with a bad hard drive. How do I open the case without breaking it

AND DO WHAT??? Do you have any idea what to do after you open the case???

First I'd like to know why you think it's a bad hard drive. What error messages or problems are you encountering?
