I have a chevy and a ford, the chevy has 125 thousand miles on it and has never given me any trouble, not a single repair, my ford has 60 thousand miles on it, and i have had to walk 4 times, transmission failure, wheel bearings, brake pistons, air conditioning, its a pile of crap, i am 35 yrs old so i dont drive like an asshole, i take care of both and i swear that i will never own a piece of crap ford as long as i live, i wasnt biased when i bought both trucks, but now i am, and as soon as i can sell that turd i will chevy is the better

Here's the thing, they both last the same as long as you do regular maintenance on them..... neither is far superior to the other. For pulling power the Dodge Cummins has the big advantage, that is a fact. But for the vehicle lasting as in a gas engine get what you like, all 3 ........ Ford, Dodge and Chevy make good trucks. I prefer Dodge, but will talk good about Ford and Chevy because I have owned all 3 and they all are good.

FORD. We just bought a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ December 3rd 2006 and it's been in the shop 3 times since then. The first time they had it for 2 weeks!!! Their own techs couldn't find out what the problem was. We had a 2005 Ford F150 Lariat which ran SUPER and gave us NO problems whatsoever. Wish we had kept IT instead of selling for the cheap *ss Chevy.

I think overall the performance of the two is pretty equal, but (there's always a but) Chevy always seems to have lower cost on parts for repairs. Personally I prefer Chevy. I have owned both by the way.

In the oil fields most people seem to like Chevy for their personal trucks because they ride better but Fords for work trucks because they're built stronger and handle the bad roads better.

If you like to spend a bunch of money on crap, go for the Ford! If you enjoy taking your vehicle to the shop for repairs, go for the Ford! If you want to be plagued with recalls on your vehicle, go with Ford! go here http://www.carcomplaints.com/ and just see for yourself and you decide, Ford or Chevy... Sorry Ford owners, your products are CRAP lmao

For BIG trucks, Dodge!!!
