John Thomson SP signed by the blue jays for $500K. Guy has great stuff and 14 wins a couple of years ago. I still think the Jays finish behind the Sox and Yankees, but w/ pitchers like Lily and Meche getting $10 million a year (insanity), $500K is nothing.

Frank Thomas. He was an AL MVP candidate, and he made less than a million dollars. Great signing by Billy Beane and the A's.
