Tough one. I'm going to go with Teddy Roosevelt. Not only was he environmentally friendly, he didn't take crap from anyone. Cuba would be a US territory and Hugo Chavez would be groveling.

He'd solve Iraq within months and then we'd pull out! And we'd be using e85 predominantly within 5 years. And the Saudi would return to being nomads.

Lincoln. He was able to guide our country through its toughest time ever, Americans killing Americans. If any president can deal with deep internal divisions, its Lincoln.

FDR, he led our country out of The Great Depression and led us into World War 2, which he would have won if he had lived, but Truman was there to finish the job.

I think Dwight Eisenhower would be the most ideal President to resurrect, if we could, to maneuver us through the malaise we have put ourselves in. Why? He, in giving his farewell address demonstrated his understanding of how insidious the military industrial complex can be, where the collusion of our military and corporate America manufacture war for war’s sake and profit, instead of defending Americans. I think he, more than any President, can see this war for the immoral act of aggression for profit that it is.

Maybe he's there speaking to the bikini wax business owners seeing if any of their employees would like a green card to the states? Since when do men take their families on "business" trips?

Jefferson without a doubt. What a glorious moment it would be to have a founding father follow the constitution and have no need for anyone to interpret its meaning for him.

Was there ever a time in American history where the country wasn't going through "these troubled times"? Every generation has their problems. World Wars, depressions, middle east war, civil war etc... I wouldn't bring any of them back to life. They wouldn't know what the hell to do. 80% of them wouldn't even be familiar with a computer.
