Does anyone listen to J-Pop, and i was wondering if there were any other great artist besides BoA, Koda Kumi, Goto Maki, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Utada Hikaru. I know morning masume is supposedly good, but i cant find any of their songs.
(P.S. I like Ayumi Hamasaki the best, shes great i love her albums- i have them all on my Ipod, and i recently got the Secret Album.)
AND PLEASE do not suggest gackt songs, - I HATE HIM.
Short: Any good J-pop artist other than Ayumi Hamasaki.

try Yuki Kaijura or her group See-saw. She is by far my favorite.
HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR is also very good.(rock)
Orange Range if you prefer more of rap feel
Fonogenico is kinda jazz/blues/pop but very good
BUCK-TICK no I'm not kidding that is the name of thier band.(rock)
Megumi Hayashibara(pop)
Shikao Suga IS AWESOMEST!! Must listen to his song 19-sai!(soul/blues/pop/)
Hitomi Takahashi is also very awesome.(rock/pop)
Koda Kumi she sang 1000 no kotoba(pop)
Aoki Mayuko(pop)
Rikki(pop)
Aikawa Nanase(pop)
lol well, those are just a few i have on my ipod. so hope you like some of them.

i'm presently extra into Korean bands in the present day, yet sure, i understand many eastern bands/singers to boot. ~Cali Gari ~Malice Mizer ~Miyavi ~Dir En gray ~Nightmare ~Lulu ~Glay ~The Seeker ~Kotani Kinya ~To destination ~X Japan ~Ice guy My famous Korean band, massive Bang, is very prevalent in Japan at present. I observed them on the covers of a few magazines even as i became over there.

Well it just depends, do you want Pop music or Rock or something? Because any genre can be considered J-pop (J-pop = Japanese popular music) so please be more specific and I'll be glad to help ^____^
