The only thing I would like to add here is the well-known fact that if 'St. Elsewhere' wasn't the groundbreaking show it was, then there certainly never would've been an 'ER'. One paved the way for the other, so-to-speak.

E.R. St. Elsewhere's ending was sooo stuuupid.
But I hear E.R. might have the same ending or similar.
A patient in the hospital who is in a coma is dreaming everything that is going on.

definately E.R. have watched it for several years now. I make sure my work schedule doesn't change so I cn watch it on Thursday nights
