yeah, rabbits are very territorial so he might be asking you to get out of his territory.

I have two rabbits and sometimes they grunt because they don t want you to touch them and sometimes they grunt but they are actually just grinding their teeth. My freinds rabbit does that too. I dont think anyone completely knows why they do that.

Males will do that during the mating season. My Holland lop does this all the time this time of year.

My rabbit used to do that when she was pregnant.

I think it just means they are cranky.
