Go for a really long brisk walk. There are so many methods people believe work, I tried them all, nothing work, some say some castor oil works but I heard its gross. I think you should let nature take its course, and well if she needs to be induced then so be it. I was induced and there was no problems, as long as the baby came out healthy I was happy. I was glad that I was being induced, this way I knew the exact day the baby was finally coming out, no more sitting around and waiting. Congrats though.

i think you shoudn't worry my little girl was a whole month late! it happens when the baby is good and ready, but I do have to say that when they tried to induce me it did not work, which kinda proves my point! anyway I eventally went in to a natural labour but ended up having a c section, but that was me not because she was late, I didn'd dilate for some reason! and also I never had any breast milk taboot! I am sure every thing will be perfectly fine, however, climbing stairs is supposed to be one as is having sex, but I honestly thing these are all old mothers tales, and that nature will take its course, and congrats on all the babysitting, and advice you will be dishing out, and of course to the new baby!

I was 2 weeks late with both mine & tried everything, being induced really isn't pleasant cos it makes your contractions even stronger than normal (not that i've ever known what normal contractions are). That said I think it beat letting my waters break in public. tell her not to worry, it'll be fine.

She should try eating a whole fresh pinapple,

I think this worked with my second child, i was already in labour but they induced me anyway! What's that all about?

My first became on the due date and my 2d became 5 days early. for the period of my 2d pregnany i became pushing my daughter interior the stroller by ability of the community for more effective or less an hour on a on a daily basis foundation about 2 weeks earlier the due date. properly, 6 days earlier the due date i did the castrol oil. I did an truly little bit (a million table spoon to at least one glass of orange juice) and that i in common words drank about 1/2 of it and that i went into exertions about 3 hours later. I advise finished exertions. It became round 11 p.m. I called my husband, he left artwork, i took a bath and then even as my husband were given living house i packed and then we were given our daughter up and outfits and left round mid evening. were given to the health center and that i became already 7 cm's dialited. I had him about a million hour later. No drugs and in common words 2 pushes. So in case you want, attempt the castrol oil. you may get it from Wal-Mart interior the medication aisle. good success with having the third early!!!

I was induced twice and neither started me off, baby will come when its ready. Chances are you will be a proud nanny before sunday. Tell your daughter to just relax and enjoy the last few days of peace.

Castor Oil if you can get it, but be warned she will have a really bad upset stomach and the midwife might know. Being induced is not so bad really, and you might find the fear will be enough to bring on labour naturally, it does for some people.

What is wrong with letting nature takes it course. That's why it's called a bun in the oven; it comes out when it's done. Unless the baby is in distress why induce labor?

Hi, congratulations to you and your family. I can only suggest walking or eating steak (my friend swore by it with her two)
I was induced, went in on the Friday and had baby on the Monday, so I wish her all the best. Everything will be cool, she'll be in the best place x

alot of walking, swimming or a hot bath can get baby going!!! curry is no good go for the indians, the hottest choice on the menu. or even ask them to make it even hotter just for her say its a craven she has and they will do it. walking up steps is good too.
