Hi,
I have found that I had to leave the burners on until they stopped smoking.
That's what you have to do, also.
If they still smoke, they are not fully cleaned off yet.
Hope this helps,
Dave

You need to clean the burner covers & grates in hot water and detergent. Use Easy-Off to clean the burner surface. It's possible you may still be leaving an oil residue.

Ive achieved an identical concern. you need to get a Drimell hand drill. First you need to take the burner of the range, it particularly is going to purely pull out. in case you circulate to dwelling house depot you will get a Drimell with diverse attachments for around $30, detect a solid spot exterior to artwork and get to grinding. that's trouble-free to do.

What did you clean them with? You should only wipe them down with a wet rag. You probably have detergent residue on them. It should eventually burn off. From now on, just use a wet cloth on the burners.
