actually daddy long legs have no venom at all, it's just a leg and. It's the Australian Web Funnel Spider. I'm 99.9% sure.

FUNNEL WEB SPIDER
The Sydney Funnel Web spider is considered to be the most venomous spider in the world. It is found in the NSW coastal zone from Nelson’s Bay to Nowra. Its habitat is under rocks and houses, in a web-lined burrow. The spider is very aggressive and will attack at the slightest provocation.
Despite its fearsome reputation, there are only 14 recorded deaths due to funnel web spider bite. However, when the spider does inject a dangerous quantity of venom, the effects can be rapid and severe, and death within an hour may occur.

A second type of spider called the Bush (or Blue Mountains) Funnel Web is also recorded as being responsible for fatal bites. Its habitat ranges over most of the NSW coast and the Great Dividing Range. This creature lives in trees behind the bark, or in holes in the trunk. Other types of related spiders such as the Northern and Southern Tree Dwelling species, are suspected of similar venom potency, and are found mostly along the south eastern area of Australia.

There are at least 37 species of funnel web spiders. All are medium to large, robust spiders, mostly dark or black in colour, with stout legs and large fangs. Males search for female mates, a process which may increase the chance of unwanted interaction with people, as they may get underfoot, or into shoes or clothing left on or near the floor.

The funnel web will bite successively if in contact with the skin, and when bitten by the funnel web spider the venom enters the body similarly to that of snakes. Anti-venom is available.

This has been a debatable question among arachnologists; however, in a recent debate on the Arachno-l news group, most seem to be leaning toward the South American Ctenid Spider, Phoneutria fera (Ctenidae), with the Sidney Funnelweb Tarantula (not to be confused with our funnelweb spiders in the family Agelenidae), Atrax robustus (Dipluridae) second. Spiders in the genus Sicarius (Sicariidae) are also in the running, but as
few people ever come into contact with these odd spiders from the South American deserts they have not acquired the notoriety that the others have. Other venomous spiders that are contenders in this group include, the Black Widow spider found in North and South America, the Brazilian Wandering spider and about eight other species found mainly in Australia; the Red back spider, the Wolf spider and White Tail spider among others. Contrary to popular beliefs the Daddy Long Legs is not the most poisonous spider in the World.

The one crawling on your arm...

In the US the most poisonous is the black widow. The brown recluse is more common and it's bites can be incredibly devestating but the venom is not as poisonous as the black widow.

The Sydney Funnel Web spider is the most poisonous in the world as of 2005, but some species of spiders found in Thailand in 2006 may be more venomous.

The Six-Eyed Sand Spider is thought to be the most venomous spider in the world by analysis of the spider. Fortunately no one has ever been bit by one as it is not very cantankerous. The Brazilian Wandering Spider and Sydney Funnelweb spider are almost as venomous but very, very hostile and aggressive spiders. They are considered the two most dangerous spiders in the world due to being second and third most venomous and will bite repeatedly.

-Brazilian wandering spiders are the most poisonous. They live in the amazon. They use their venom to kill lizards and mice.

-Australasian funnel-web spiders are a close second. It lives in the eastern coast of Australia. Stays under logs, rocks, and any dark place in a human home.

-Daddy long legs can bite humans, but have little venom.
They are no harm at all. It is just a myth they do not bite.

-Black widows are poisonous, but only truly famous because they live in North America. The live in dark places like caves, garage, and attics.

Spiders do not hunt humans, so just keep your distance.

My guess is the brazilian wandering spider. I work for a pest control company. Black widows are venomous, and brown recluse are even moreso. But they are not the worst in the world.

I have heard it was the Daddy long legs, and the only reason there not dangerous to humans is their small mouth and fangs.(to small to penetrate human skin. The Mythbuster guys do get things wrong from time to time.
