Ok first of all you need to create a work group with both computers. If you do not set up Both computers as a work group you cannot share your Printers/files.
Make sure that when naming your work group that Both computers use the Same Identical name, and if caps is used then caps has to be used on both Computers.
Also make sure that all Printers are turned on and both computers are connected via ethernet cables when you do this.

Here are the steps
You always start with the main computer that hooks directly to the Internet first.
1st-click on start menu
2nd- click on control panel
3rd-network and internet connections
4th-click set or change your home or small office network
5th- follow the wizard and remember to name the Work group Exactly the same for both computers and when the wizard ask you if you want printer/ file sharing or not you click yes.
6th- when you are all done go to your second computer and follow these steps.
7th- reboot both systems and you should be able to share the printers.

Now look back in your control panel, under network and internet connections, off to the left look for a link that says My network places, click on it and you see both of the shared folders in there.

Hope this helped you out a bit.
