Advantage goes to Gambit in city street, desert and Antarctica.
Nightcrawlers get squished underfoot, shrivel up in dry heat and freeze in arctic cold.
Advantage to nightcrawler in jungle -- lots of lush vegetation and biomass to lurk beneath and spring out from.

If he wanted to be, Nightcrawler could be one of the most lethal fighters in the Marvel Universe. He could teleport next to an opponent, grab a part of the opponent's body, and teleport away with only half of the opponent's body, leaving the other half behind, effectively cutting the opponent in two. He actually has done this only once that I know of, when the XMen were fighting Nimrod back in the eighties. Apparently Nightcrawler is too nice a guy to kill his enemies like that. But if he wanted to, he could. Even without doing that, he could continuously pummel Gambit from every direction, easily beating him senseless, regardless of the environment.

Nightcrawler. He'd teleport through something solid and let go of him. We'd never have to here him say Chere again. Gambit is so lame-not as lame as anything by Liefeld though.

Although it doesn't matter Nightcrawler would have more of an advantage in the jungle.All Kurt has to do is teleport Remey's head off his body.
