The older I get, the more I feel I don't have to be great or produce great works. Those born with extraordinary gifts who are at the right place at right time will be those who are remembered. A personal legacy is only important to one's ego, not to the world. That being said, I want to be one who lived doing good, rather than doing evil to others.

It really doesn't matter to me. Perhaps a few statues or a grand estate, reminiscent of a very well lived life of success and philanthropy. All things are temporary. Although I do find that most people have a hardwired drive to leave children as their heirs.

I would like to be able to say that I made a positive contribution to this world! I am a social worker and what I would like to see when I look back is that I manage to inspire some people so they were able to make a step ahead! That's all!

Omigosh. Wouldn't we all like to dictate our own obituary.

But we have no control of what others think of us. All we can do is try as much as we can, to be the best that we can, and hope that that is good enough. To be both a student and a teacher of life - that I think is a pretty good ideal to strive toward. That's what I would like others to say about me. That "She Tried".

I have actually told my children that that is what I want as my epitaph: "She Tried".

My bloodline! The endless, unconditional love of my offspring, and their offspring, and their offspring. People will say... He had integrity, and he was stubborn enough not to sacrifice that! The last thing he said was, "Hahaha... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa". The he died... funniest thing I ever saw! That guy was a gas!

I'm a piano teacher, so I hope that people say that I shared my love of music, that I inspired them to create beautiful music. That, in some small way, I had a positive influence in their lives and that they appreciated my contribution to their lives.
