If your talking if the xbox 360 has better graphics over the xbox, and the PS3 has better graphics than the PS2, and the Wii has better graphics than the GameCube on a standard TV, then the answer is YES it does- they just look a LOT more beautiful on HDTV's.
Xbox 360 better than Xbox - Yes
PS3 better than PS2 - Yes
Wii better than Gamecube - Sort of
the Wii doesnt have much updated graphics from the gamecube. But you can really tell the difference with PS3 and Xbox 360
the 360 wins over all of them overall.
the 360 and PS3 have same graphics sorta, just the game Gears of War make 360 win.

The 360, for the simple reason that it has pushed standard TVs to their potential. People talk about the PS3 having better graphics, but if you get into the technical aspects, the PS3 and 360 have EXACTLY the same potential on a regular TV. Where the PS3 pulls away is on a 1080p, but unless you have over 3k to drop on a TV, you WILL NOT notice a difference. Anyone saying otherwise is just a fanboy, because that is how the machines work.
And right now the 360 games have better graphics because they are longer developed games, while the PS3 is still on its launch games.
And graphics don't make a system - the Wii is great, even without life-like graphics (hence why most people's favorite games were on older systems [like Goldeneye for the N64]; graphics don't make awesome games).

The Wii would have the best graphics on a standard definition TV. I have the 360 and PS3, and I play them on a standard definition TV,but the 360 and PS3 were made mostly for HD gaming, not the Wii.

the wii would...the ps3 and xbox 360 graphics you usually see or hear about are all on HD TVs which is kinda pointless on standard def. I have a wii on standard def and it looks amazing and if you get the component cables to hook it up to a HD TV its pretty much almost the same. The wii would be the best on standard def but if you wanna go HD i suggest the 360...the PS3 is actually darker in contrast and doesnt look as smooth when playing PS2 games

the xbox 360...there have been tests on graphics on a standard tv and the 360 rules. and plus the 360 is a better gaming system that costs a helluva lot less money than the ps3.

i dont know about the wii and ps3 but the 360 has a changeable option for regular tv or hi-def.

if your going for just game then the 360 would be your best bet, the wii is CRAP, and with time, the PS3 will have its day like the 360 does with gears of war

the ps3 has better graphics on an hdtv but the bad thing is that in order to get the most out of it u have to buy the HDMI cable but once ur set you'll really like the graphics(hopefully)

If you're going strictly on graphics, you don't need any of them. The graphics don't make the system.
Personally, I think the Wii does, though.
