Whats this mean? -"So anyway, I'm gonna love you and leave you now"- is this saying "i love you" or is it a british term meaning something else? thanks

It's just a commonly used phrase like *catch you later*.

It just means good bye! A British phrase.

It is a British term. My Brit gf says it all the time before we get off the phone. I usually reply, "The story of my life." ... Don't read anything deep or dark into it.

We use the same saying in Australia as well. It really doesnt mean they love you as persay, it is just a long winded way of saying goodbye. I suppose it is gernerally a nice way of saying "look i'd love to stay chating but i really have to go".
