Well, to tell you the truth, many girls get it from 9-14 years of age. I got "it" at 11. 11 and 10 are average. Girls are getting it earlier now because all the hormones in milk.

well according to most research and statistics most girls get there period between 9 years of age and 16. if you dont have you period by the time you are 16 years old it is recommended that you go see a gyn so you can have some hormone test. but hun if you havent had yours yet and you havent trust me..ur lucky . periods are NOTHING special. just a pain (literally) you get once a month. hope this helps :]

I was 10 when I first got mine but one of my friends was 8 and another one of my friends was almost 15. It's different for every woman but you generally hear about 9-13 years old or 1-2 years after the onset of puberty.

There's no average age. Most girls start by 14. Others start anywhere between age 10 and 17. Underweight girls tend to start later.
