I work for Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep dealer.. I haven't seen any SRT8's (Grand Cherokee,300,Charger) come in with any problems. It is based on the smaller 5.7 Hemi which is damn reliable since it came out.

I own a 300c and love the car. This is my 2nd one ,the previous was a 300 limited and after i sold it i went thru3 new vehicles and then bought the hemi. The only down fall seems to be with the electronics there is so much in the car and seems to always be a problem.(eg: compass, steering wheel switches, power equip) If you can get your head around that the car is one of the best vehicles you can drive.Just make sure that you do not rush in to getting one and research the pricing,go to auto trader.ca

According to Consumer Reports, the two Chrysler 300s they have tested (5.7 and 3.5 Liter examples) were long on power and style, short on economy and reliability. Based upon the last general information I have seen, Asian vehicles are the best, but American vehicles are superior to European vehicles. However, the differences are narrowing and on average vehicles continue to be reliable and perform more functions.
That said, I would consider buying the SRT-8 anyway. I drove one on a road-race track last June along with other DaimlerChrysler SRT vehicles. It was spectacular. If you want absolute reliability, buy a Lexus. If you want luxury and style with real power, you WILL like the Chrysler.

A HEMI POWERED SRT-8!!!!!!! ok now in case you opt for a motor vehicle that rides like a muscle motor vehicle get the SRT, in case you opt for % and your tryin to compete with overseas autos get the CTS-V. enable me allow you to keep in mind that Chrysler's components and finishes experience low priced. Their bland. Chrysler also does no longer very last lengthy. have self assurance me my mom and father had 2 clean stay sparkling of Grand Caravans and both were the game type. also keep in mind that Chrysler is risky yet to boot they grant you with beter bargains. Wow the CTS-V interiors has superior from the '05 fashions in challenge Gotham Racing 3! final analysis, in case you opt for a muscle motor vehicle experience and can want to stay with the interior and in no way provide the motor vehicle into CarMax at 36k miles get the Chrysler. Btw three hundred SRT-8 0-60 in 5 seconds. Has about 425 hp-6.1L HEMI V8. Cadillac's interiors is tha' beast! 0-60 in 3.9 sec. 6.2L supercharged engine. if im no longer mistakin'. RELIABILITY, American autos are literally not sturdy, besides the undeniable fact that GM has a tendency to tug the string after 45k, Chrysler has a tendency to tear the string at 45k. i'd get a 300C SRT-8 <---

You are so true about that but I go to the auto show like every year cause my dad works with cars like Pontiac,Chrysler,Hummer and etc. But if you have time in Feb.stop by the auto show cause the car that you want is on the floor and you could drive it on the track that's pretty cool right. But majority of them are reliable.

the 300c is from Chrysler Daimler....the same folks who also make Mercedes Benz...this car shares alot of mechanics and styling cues with the S and CL series Benzes....alot of shared technology...Chrysler has been on a roll the past few years...their Viper, 300c, Charger, Neon, Magnum, Crossfire, Nitro, Durango, and Dodge Ram trucks have been critically acclaimed..in fact, Motor Trend magazine named the 300C car of the year in 05...when it debuted...celebrities bought them...nicknamed it the "Baby Bentley"..my only problem is gas mileage...the V6 is a weak engine...the V-8 Hemi is strong...sucks up alot of juice...the Japanese and Germans use V6's..power dose'nt matter to them..in American, we love the horses...with Mustang , 300c/Magnum/ Charger, and the new Vette...American cars are on the upswing...if you want reliable and fuel efficient..get a Chevy Cobalt or Chrysler Crossfire.
