I am going to get ysl touche eclat concealer. Thats good , i used it before. I need a foundation that will give a full but natural coverage. I have already tried mineral foundations, they are ok (dont cover all the flaws) but I need something for a wedding. Also a good powder too. If you could give me a step by step on how to apply concealer, foundation and powder would be really great. I have olive skin. I want a glamorous look (50's). Would a matte foundation be good? Nothing too expensive either. Thank you

Get a consultation at the Clinique counter. They can recommend the best shade and formula for you. Their foundations are very good and not terribly expensive.
For concealer, I use a small concealer brush and pat it under my eyes and on blemishes. Then I even it out with a sponge and set it with a mattifying or translucent powder. (I like Physician's Formula Mineral Powder). Next, use a cosmetic sponge to apply your foundation and make sure to blend well! To set the foundation, press a powder puff or sponge all over your skin and then brush off excess powder with a large, fluffy powder brush. And that's all there is to it! Hope that this helps!

If you are looking for something that is easy and doesn't require a step by step, try Maybelline Wonder Finish. It's a "liquid to powder" foundation. Seriously, I had never used foundation before and I got this from a friend, all I have to do is put it on my fingertips or a cotton ball and wipe it over my face. I really love it because it's easy and it works perfectly.

try buying neutragena cover up. it looks completly natural yet at the same time it works. and now not only are they making a normal cover up but they are making one that is oil-free and helps fight the oils in your face that cause zits and other facial blemish's (apply with a compact replacment). it works amazing and you get great results. as for the powder it is a natural look but at the same time it wears off easily. if that is what you want to use though you should apply it with a powder brush (it will usually come with the powder. if not it can be found almost anywhere).

you should apply concealer first. use a compact replacment and just rub it on after washing your face. there is really nothing to it but just make sure you apply it to your whole face.
foundation should be your base coat so just be sure to rub it on gently.
and for the powder you should just be careful you don't turn your face all white or orange.

remember don't rush with your make up. take your time and you will look great.

I've got olive skin too and I use Revlon colorstay soft flex in natural beige. But I mix it on my leg first with my facial moisturizer, because it looks more natural. I use it 'neat'as a concealer. Don't use too much powder, use it just around the nose area lightly ot it will look furry.
