Also i've made sure it was online and it wasnt so i put it on online and then afterwards it turned to offline by itself.

First thing I'd do is look for error messages. If there were none, then power off your computer and printer, then unplug the power cable from the printer. Wait a minute then plug the power and restart your computer and printer.

If that still doesn't help you may need to reinstall the driver.

Well I would suggest removing the printers driver and re installing it. On usb devices , remove the cable, remove the driver. Reboot the system, reinstall the driver, reboot and then connect the printer. this Will recognize the printer all over and should work. However the USB cable could have gone bad, The USB ports in your computer could have gone bad or the printer it's self went Kaput..To verify cable try a known good one, to verify printer install it on a different computer. Some times even though you have Ink, the ink cartridge is electronic"has circuitry within and can go bad, causing similar trouble. hope this helps,. Will

Ink based printers are notorious for getting confused. Try shutting the computer down and unplugging the printer from the wall outlet and from the computer. Wait a few minutes. Connect the printer back up to the computer and plug it back into the wall outlet. Turn the computer on.

If the problem is not resolved you may have to get the printer serviced.
