Well broad band is a system that has been integrated by cable and phone companies, that allow computers to interact with one another over the internet. It is much much faster than the old phone line. there is DSL and Cable. They are both considered as Bradband. DSL uses and needs a phone line. With DSL , you can use the Internet and the phone line, and neither will interfere with the other, which is great. With cable You need to have some kind of cable provider like road runner. Cable is usually the fastest of the 2. Hope this helps Will.
