to open an easy cash bank account with the Halifax?

hello happy blon.well i have just opened an easy cash account with halifax and applied for it through the internet and have had nothing but a carry on.i recieved my sort code and account no. within days but never recieved my card .i went to my nearest halifax to see what was going on and they said that they coulnd believe i had recieved sort code etc.because they had no proff of who i was.i sent all the documents that they needed and still havnt recieved my card.if you havnt applied through the internet then it should be fine!but i wish i hadnt bothered x

Hi, if you go in with relevant information,passport/driving license,some kind of bill e.g telephone/electric e.t.c,wage slip and anything else you think might help. Usually about 10 minutes.
