Oh by the way, I am only 16, would I still need a smear test? I've never had one

I really don't want to go to my doctor, My doctor is quite far away and to get there I would need to tell my parents, and I'm not ready for that yet.

You do not need to go to your doctor for this, you can go straight to the FPC. They will ask for your doctors contact details and will (and should!) remain in contact with his office, regarding any future smear tests or pills they prescribe you.

At the FPC: They will put you on the pill if they deem it necessary to do so. They usually weigh you and take down lifestyle details such as whether you smoke, have had sex before, and some physical measurements first. Seeing as your 16 and havent had a smear, they probably won't give you the pill unless you have started a relationship with somebody and are planning to be sexually active.

You only get smears after you have become sexually active and usually, not when your 16, maybe later, but they may want to check you out if you've already had sex.

Above all, dont worry about anything. These are trained people who have seen and heard it all before and if you have any queries or worries, then they will ease your mind and give you info.

Oh, and dont forget to pick up loads of free condoms, safer sex is best!

Just go to Planned Parenthood. They will put you on the pill and check you for any type of disease that you need and make sure you are "running properly" Don't worry about it. If you'd like, you can go to your own doctor but if you don't feel comfortable there, this is the other option. Don't be scared, they are trained properly and do it all the time. Good luck.

A family planning clinic will prescribe the pill. they will probably recommend a smear test but you won't HAVE to do it. Although its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, you might as well do it just to be sure you're infection free :-)

Some FP clinics will not prescribe the pill. It's best to give them a call and check. The link below will tell you where your nearest clinic is.

it genuinely didnt make me drop some pounds, it made me income about 8 lbs, yet no enormous deal. It facilitates your pores and skin a touch, yet having said that all and diverse is diverse and could react otherwise. i imagine that is between the perfect, i have been given a prescription from the record and get it at CVS.

Best to go talk with this to your doctor. Family planning clinic always think you need counseling. Unless you want it.

You can go to either place. See if your surgery runs a family planning clinic...they may do.

Yes, they will. However, you will have to have a physical because they'll need an up to date pap smear before they can give you birth control.
