So, my and my BFF are officially over. I realized how immature, selfish, controlling, mean, snobby and stubborn she is. She even moved out of our locker. (At my school, we have these wooden lookers that are more like closets. I'm in 7th grade.)

So now I'm really good friends with one of my other friends, who hates my ex BFF, too. Today in the morning, I came to my locker, and there was a large box of chocolate (my favorite kind, she knows that), with a note. In the note she wrote how sorry she was, and said she realized how stupid and retarded she is. (She was talking about herself). She even wrote me a special message in the Russian alphabet because we're the only people in our school who can read that alphabet.

The major reason I don't want to be friends with, is because on AIM, she AIMed my BFF from my old school saying, "I went to Hungary this summer. You probably can't afford it." My BFF from my old school told me that, and I know that she never lies.

Part of me realizes what a bad friend she is, and part of me really misses her. What should I do?

I would say forgive her if you truly miss her. But tell her how mean she is and all that other stuff. And tell her that you don't like that side of her. Hopefully she'll change her ways and be a better friend.

I would suggest that you TRY to stop being immature (although I understand that you're only in 7th grade). I wouldn't jump the gun and say that your friendship is over, yet. Obviously you don't HATE her if you're asking us what you should do. You are just upset with her and need space to figure out how to handle the situation. In my opinion, what she said to your friend has nothing to do with you or your friendship with her. If your best friend from your old school was offended, she shouldn't have come running to you to get you to choose sides. I believe that was the most immature act in this entire situation. Your bff apologized and that shows that she cares about your friendship. I believe that it's good to forgive, but don't forget. Remain friends with her, because you obviously miss her. Things like this happen all the time. Good friends are hard to come by, so don't just ditch her because you've hit a bump in the road of friendship.

Make up and be friends again. Forgive her if that is what you must do. She's already taking the measure in asking for forgivness by giving you chocolate. Doesn't that mean something? And like you said, you miss her right? So forgive and forget

Forgive her! Forgive and forget!! because you may never get to say your sorry to her cos she could suddenley die one day and you will live the rest of your life filled with regret just because you couldnt say sorry.
