I used to get it so bad that at night I couldn't sleep because of the pain. Not sure if you can build a law suit, you can probably get L&I.

I've known someone who got carpal tunnel and took time off from work for surgery and came back and got laid off. Corporations have a lot of power, all they care about is the bottom line $$$$. Corporate greed in America is out of control! Building a law suit can be very stressful and it can take a long time to go to court; do you really want to carry that kind of stress around with you for years and maybe not win?

My advice is to focus on a solution. The best thing to do is to hold your wrists up high when you're typing. This helps a lot and it increases your typing speed. Ask your company to get you a carpel tunnel rest support. Buy braces for your wrists from a sporting goods store. When my wrists get sore I wear braces and it helps a lot. I wear them around the house when I'm working in the yard. Holding your wrists up high and wearing braces when you feel a slight pain can help tremendously. This can prevent having surgery. You must protect your wrists. Whenever I feel a slight pain in my wrist I pull out my wrist braces. Try and prevent going to court and having surgery.

I had carpal tunnel several years ago. Someone suggested that I go to a chiropractor and I refused but finally gave in. He got rid of the carpal tunnel in just a few vistis. It made me into a believer in a GOOD chiropractor. If you want to find relief you might think of giving it a try.

I had an EMG , when I complained of wrist pain . The neurologist , who did the test , told me I had a problem in my neck , that the pain in my wrists was secondary to cervical problems . He referred me to a neurosurgeon , and I had a procedure called Anterior Cervical Diskectomy Fusion . This was in March . My neck still hurts like hell , and I still am awaiting surgery on both my wrists . So , not to bore you any longer , but , you should ask your primary care provider to show you the EMG rsults , it may show a bigger problem . God bless , and good luck .

sorry it is non sueable. Millions of people suffer from it,
I use magnets on mine, and no problems, but they are special magnets too.
Other people have had surgery.
