Hello Dude,

You can't. Notepad does not allow "Save As" in html. You need to open these files in Microsoft Word or Open Office (for free at http://www.openoffice.org) and then do a "Save as" and specify the file type as "HTML"

Tom

Or you can do as the guy above says too. :)

When you create the file in Windows Notepad simply go to File>SaveAs... and when the window pops up change the "Save as type:" to "All Files", in the "File Name:" block give your file a name followed by .html (something like 'test.html') and click save. You can then open your new html document with any web browser.

After you have your HTML code written in Notepad, follow these steps to save your file as an ".html" document.

1. Click File > Save As
2. The "Save As" dialog box will open
3. Browse to the location you want to save the document
3. In the "Filename" box, name your file with quotes like this
"index.html"
4. Just replace the name index with whatever you want to name the file, but be sure to enclose your filename with quotes like I've shown above

I hope this helps!

Save the file as regular txt. Open your browser, and open the txt with it. Go to the browsers File menu, and save the document from there as HTML.

The icon displayed for a document form is predicated on the utility linked with that form of document. The notepad icon is linked with text textile documents. A CSS document (cascading variety sheet) is a undeniable form of text textile document, and you mustn't have the extension linked with the different utility.
