i just wanted to know b/c i thought it was a good question and plus i have pimples....i use hot water to wash my face to make my pores open to clean but i thought this was a good question to...and if they are smaller will you have less bumps?

not really.
Smaller pores get dirt in them the same as larger pores only not as often.
I like the way you're cleaning the pimples. That's a really good way to do it. And you never want to "pop" one because it causes scarring.

You can never actually make your pores smaller, they're something determined by genetics. But you can make them appear smaller, lots of product out there for that, and giving yourself or getting a professional facial can help. I'd also suggest closing your pores with ice/cold water after you've washed it with hot. Bumps are acne not pores so I would suggest looking into acne treatments that work for you without irritation your skin. Oh yeah, smaller pores don't make skin an easier to wash but I think your asking more about keeping it acne free, which can be easier with smaller pores as bacteria and dirt and oil have a harder time getting in.

Hi Ya
Using a toner after washing helps close poures which stops make up ect causing prooblems. How ever pimples are caused through several thing. It could be hormonal a teenager the oil glands working over time and producing too much oil which blocks the pores which cause pimples and blackheads this settles when older, pregnant women settles after had baby,stress and believe it or not mature acne due to body changes to the older person as well.
Lotions and potions will help a little.

when your pores are large it means that your oil glands are large and active. this means you are prone to pimples because of your oil glands. its good that you are washing your face with hot water. i would rinse with cold water to snap pores shut. having small pores means there closed and less likely to trap oil, dirt, and dead skin cells. so you wont have as many blemishes thus making it easier to wash your face.

i have heard that the sparkling and sparkling pink grapefruit face wash works really nicely. also, try their sparkling cucumber face mask. I had an same problem and the mask is marvelous! It actually pulls the stuff out of your pores and pulls blackheads out all the way. Edit: Sorry. The mask is through Freeman. not sparkling and sparkling!

Um...... Not Exactly,see if your pores were smaller, it would be more to clean,but if they were bigger it would be less,and easier.
