please give me step by step insructions on how to use it and convert the clips so it can be put on my ipod.......

don't use keepvid to complicated try www.vixy.net
paste in youtube link or whatever website. Then next to convert to: choose mp4 (ipod) then click convert. When its done a link will appear for your download. Just click it and enjoy.

go to the keepvid website: http://keepvid.com/
in the top green box, enter the url of the video you want to copy (for example, if you wanted a video off of youtube.com, go to the video's page, and copy the URL in the address bar (it'll look something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQuxIpNKVqk)
next to that box, select the source of the video (in the above example, it would be youtube.com)
click the 'download' button
a gray box appears a few lines down, with text like:
Original link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQuxIpNKVqk
›› Download Link ‹‹ (.flv - Flash Video)
right click on the 'download link' option and choose 'save target as ...'
a dialogue box will appear, prompting you where to save the file. it will be named 'get_video' by default. change that to a name you will recognize, and add the extention .flv after it.
the video will now be on your computer. if you have an .flv player, you can view the video.
you can use a program like 'Super video converter' (free shareware, download from http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html) to convert that to a format that is viewable on your ipod.
(i haven't used super video converter, but it looks like you may be able to use it directly to convert/save videos from the internet)
