Oh, it's wonderful!!!! I'm in south Texas and it's FINALLY cold!! The whole city was told to stay home (because drivers in south Texas are not used to driving on icy roads). I LOVE cold weather (am originally from the Northeast). There's been frozen rain and sleet... and the weathermen keep "promising" snow... if the front moves just a little be more to the south. Come on, SNOW!!! We haven't had a good snow since 1985. There've been days when, if you looked carefully at a streetlamp, you could just see a few flakes wandering down.... but we got 13 inches in 1985.
Either way, snow or no snow, it's icy, freezy cold, just the way I LOVE it!!! It's been between 24 and 28 degrees Fahrenheit all day.
C'mon snow! Think snow!
SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! SNOW!
And yes, I have lived where it snowed before, so I DO understand all about shoveling walks and such.... but believe you me... when you live AWAY from it for so long, you REALLY do miss it!!
P.S. I'm in San Antonio... hey, Austin! Please send some of your snow our way! :-)

in Sunny California... it is freakin' cold. It is currently 43F. But in the evenings it is getting down to 20 - 30 degrees.

Here in New York there is no snow at all this winter. It's been the longest amount of time without snow for 111 years!!!
