Depends on the airline's policy. When I was younger they wouldn't let a woman on a plane after her 6th month! Call them up and see what their policy is. Some will just require a doctor's note.

Pregnancy is divided into 3 trimesters - 3 months for each. Doctors (and most airlines will not allow it because of liability) will advise that you do not fly in the 3rd trimester - any time from 6 months pregnant on.
There are many reasons for this - pressure, etc - but airlines are, quite simply, afraid a pregnant woman will go into labour during the flight.

ask your doctor in case you have a high risk pregnancy. For a normal pregnancy it is up to the point you feel safe and assured about it. If where you are going doesnt have the best hospital facilities then obviously dont go near your due date, or if you dont care about who deliver's your baby then if your going somwhere with good clean hospitals then it probably doesnt matter to much. If you withint the end of your pregnancy, do you want to have and give birth on a plane?? if the answer is no then obviously dont fly anywhere.

Its really a personal question in a normal pregnancy and only you know what your limits and what you fel comfortable with. Good luck!

You will have to check with the airline directly - they have different policies. Eight months sounds like it might be a little late, but it can be dependent upon the pregnancy (i.e. if it is not a high-risk pregnancy) - the obstetrician would be able to determine this closer to the date.

There are different regulations depending upon whether the flight is domestic or international.

My latest flights were around 35 weeks of pregnancy.

Most airlines, as far as I know, will allow up to 28 weeks. Anything after that will require a written permission from her doctor. Check with the airline they will be flying to make sure.

Definately check with her doctor first, but I've been told not to fly after seven months. There is a risk of blood clotting in the mother as well as dehydration.

I was able to fly from Europe to the US at 8 months pregnant.

My obgyn didn't want me to fly after 32 weeks. She said if I chose to to make sure it was a short direct flight and that I could get up and walk around for circulation if I needed to.

I think they get nervous around the latter portion of your seventh month
