I've heard the antidepressant Wellbutrin does not cause sexual side effects (lower sex drive, inability to reach orgasm) -- has anyone had a good experience with this drug?

yes I have taken Wellbutrin before and it does not cause a low sex drive nor does it cause impotence. If any thing Wellbutrin increases sex drive in some of the population.There are some other side effects that you may or may not encounter. It may be the right medication for you or it may not be. Listen to your body is all you have to do. Also only take the prescribed dose as ordered by your doctor as it can increase blood pressure. As long as your monitored or see a physician regulary and again, listen to your body you'll do well.
Also it does not hamper your ability to reach an orgasm, SSRI's such as Prozac, Lexapro, and etc effect the ability to have an orgasm.

all antidepressants or sedatives tend to have side affects. Low sex drive is very common even if your not taking antidepressants sometimes you just dont feel like doing it. I think it thas a lot to do with your sexuality if you are open minded and feel attracted to your partner then you might want to have sex is all in yur mind.
I personally take welbutrin it does not give me any side effects. It gives me more energy troughout the day the only thing I experienced is that I do not have the same sensation when having intercourse but is still quite good no complaints. I think it is because it wears off at the edn of the day.

There's 2 different wellbutrins. The regular one and the newer one with the lower sexual side effects. I've been on both. And liked the 2nd one best.

It is a great drug to stop smoking.
You can smoke while taking it, but after a few days the cigarrettes taste like a chalk stick for all the affect they have on you.
Found it great , stopped smoking in a month, no problems with sex, but only had it a month

I used it for awhile to try and quit smoking. It doesn't cause the low sex drive and inability like other drugs.
