your blood sugar may be low or perhaps your blood pressure drops when you stand suddenly. Try rising slowly

From an optical point of view, what happens when you stand up the blood rushes away from your head . Leaving your optic nerve temporarily without blood. If you are taking medications especially diuretics, or if you drink a lot of caffeinated drinks this will make the problem worse. Try raising slowly and cutting back on coffee, soda and tea. But, to be on the safe side you should schedule an appointment with your doctor to make sure there is not a more serious underlying medical condition.

Once I was walking in a mall and I blacked out, I could not see anything! I felt around for a chair. I sat down. It went away after about 30 seconds. I got up again and starter walking to the food court. I blacked out again. I bought something to eat and drank alot of water. After eating and drinking I was fine.
Maybe you should eat more. (worked for me)

When you get up try not to get up as quick, sit on the side of the bed for a little bit.
I think its just the sudden change in body position.

I dont know what is causing it as im not a doctor, but I would get it checked out right away as it could be a brain tumor or hemorrage, or then again you could just need glasses, but its better to be safe than sorry! good luck!

You could be anemic, need your blood pressure checked
have some vitamin or mineral deficiencies
Drinking diet soda or too much sugar can also cause this.
