chivalry means curtesy towards woman? what if it's curtesy towards men? i know it's not kindness...there's a word for it.

The closest thing I can think of is either:

Graciousness or Demureness

Both are archaic values not highly held in modern society, the same as Chivalry.....

You hit on something here -- There isn't one, because women never think about kindness or respect toward men (they just expect it from us w/o doing anything in return).

Actually chivalry also had rules about how a "lady" was to treat a man, but that meaning of the term has disappeared.

Chivalry was a code not just about how to treat a woman, but how to live one's life. Of course, we wouldn't say _today_ that "he was very chivalrous toward Mr. Smith," probably just "respectful" or "deferential" or "courteous."
