i am a really athletic girl (i play basketball, volleyball, && golf) i am also really competative. some of my past boyfriends played basketball && we'd play one-on-one && i'd beat him. he would play it off as if it didnt bother him, but i knew it did. so my question is...do guys like it when girls are good at sports??

Ya i think they like it, but if you beat them all the time , i think they may believe its slowly depleting their manhood. Maybe dont try so hard. Our find someone who you can play and be yourself and will actually challenge your God-given abilities. Its your choice. Good luck :)

It's a catch 22 situation. Guys love girls that they can relate to, and isports are a big part of many boys lives, so having a girl who is good at and understands sports is great. At the same time, most boys still believe that sports is a man's thing, so being beaten by a girl is not something they look forward too.
So yes and no. We like girls who are good at sports, but not better than us!

most of the girls i know, let alone dated, dont know much about (or play) any sport. if anything, its hockey. but yeah, id like to have a girlfriend, or even just a female friend, who is into sports. i doubt she would be able to beat me in anything not on ice though (golf pending).
anywho back to the question, yes im sure alot of guys like it when girls are into/good at sports, especially when they are too. it creates a nice (sometimes competitive) bond.

In my opinion yes they do. I appreciate a girl who challenges me and brings out the best in me. A guy who gets upset because his gf is better than him in something be it sports or not is just insecure.
I prefer athletic girls, because I find them more attractive and I end up having more in common with them.

Honestly, it depends on how you react to winning. I don't mind getting beat in anything, but if someone gloats and throws it in my face, I get angry. As long as you're being mature about winning, they have no reason to get upset. And if they can't handle it, either don't play them anymore or move on to another guy.

personally i like it when girls are good at sports...most guys dnt like it when are girls are better, but that doesnt matter to me..depends on the guy..keep bein yourself dnt change just for a guy

i love sporty girls ..... hate it when theyre too girly.. especiall basketball and volleyball... golf sucks thouh ,.. but yea sprty is a plus
