What's a good brand of mascara that doesn't smudge? Towards the end of the day, I have black smudges under my eyes. I'm using Maybelline Unstoppable at the moment. I don't mind spending more money, but if it's going to smudge anyway, what's the point? Advice anyone?

My two favorites are Marykay Ultimate mascara ($15) and Lancome Paris Definicils mascara ($23). They stay on your lashes and don't smudge. Marykay's Ultimate mascara is my best bet because it is a lower price and produces great results.

"kiss me" mascara has a pretty good reputation. It's not oil-based so it won't smudge (so is the claim on their website).
The SuperFull Mascara from AVON is really good. Doesn't leave clumps and is flake-proof and smudge-proof. (and currenly on sale)
Make sure you don't flutter your eyes too much after putting on your mascara until the mascara is completely dry. I also put not only a concealer under my eye but also a touch of baby powder or foundation loose powder so that if it does happen to smudge a bit, it comes right off without a struggle.
If your eyes water frequently (mine do - allergies), you might want to consider a waterproof mascara.

I use this kind called american beauty where one side is like whiteish, and you put that on first, then the other is black and you put it on over it and it looks so good and doesn't smudge, but its easy to wash off too! You should try it out, its amazing i promise!

My favorite mascara is Hypnose by Lancome. It will run you about $23 but I really like it. I have used MAC, Clinuque, Benefit and most drug store brands in the past and this one works the best for me. You can buy it online at www.lancome-usa.com or at any Macy's or Nordstroms.

you can use MaryKay water proof and thickener really good you can go swimming and it wont smudge.

i don't know the name but on one side it is white and on the other black. that is the best mascara ever !!!!
