I have had problems from day one. Ready to file NASD complaint for not giving me interest on Money Market Accounts. Manager refuses to answer emails ever since I asked him to stop talking around the problem. I cannot believe that I am the only one with this problem, and if I'm right, they will have to restate earnings.

I had a lot of problems with Wachovia investments too. Those investment advisor guys in the branches are, um, ethically challenged in my experience. I think they seek to cater to people who are unsophisticated and don't know enough to complain when they're mistreated. It wasn't easy and took over a year but I finally got all my money out of Wachovia affter complaining to the corp. HQ in NC. I sugggest you call this number tell them your problem and ask them to fix it.
704-374-6565 The corporate people were actually helpful and nice and I got them impression they hear this sort of tale every single day. I sugggest you get all your money out of there and never look back.

It is your duty to file a complaint if indeed they have not been paying your interest on an account that they are supposed to, but Wachovia is an awfully big company to be doing something quite that dumb and blatant, don't you think? I suspect from your question that you don't quite understand the nature of "stated earnings", either.

Take one or more of your bank or brokerage statements to a numerate third party you feel you can trust, and ask them what they think.

Best wishes!

I move money from them all the time. I think it boils down to your broker. Do you know that you are paying him for lousy service? Roll your money out and stop paying fees, and get higher interest than you're getting in their money market. Let me know if I can give you suggestions.
