If you have an open mind and don't get squeamish easily, read Red Bird Just Like this by Earl Jesse Stevens. It was just published last year. It's funny as all get out in places. It's sad as a gypsy serenading the moon in others. There is plenty of tittilating erotica, some deeply disturbing poetry sprinkeled in, and best of all it's an autobiograpical novel that covers a lifetime of that 's full of twists and turns that revolve on a dime.

Well, Sweet Betrayal is romantic. Its really cute about how a man and a woman love each other, yet hate to admit it ....The Lord of The Rings is nice...I enjoyed readng it. If you don't like these, you can just search google for a subject that interests you and you'll find the right book. =)

know you reported no vampire books...yet i think of Twilight is great! that's a sturdy e book and that's in a human beings standpoint, not a vampires! it is likewise a action picture. there is: Twilight; New Moon; Eclipse; and Breaking daybreak... in spite of the undeniable fact that Breaking daybreak isn't out interior the cinema's yet... If not Twilight, then how approximately some Jaqueline Wilson books? they're spectacular!!! and actual humorous. wish I helped(:

Plato - The Republic. One of the best books ever written.
Or if that doesn't float your boat, try this:
P.J. O'Rourke - Parliament of Whores. Irreverent political humour.
