Depends on the diagram. I'm assuming this is part of an isoceles triangle where angle PQR and PRQ are the equal angles and QPR is the 3rd angle with a possibly different measurement.

For two angles to be congruent, then need equal measure and equal sides. We know that PR and PQ are equivalent (definition of an isoceles triangle). We also know that QR = RQ since it is the same line segment.

So you have equivalent sides and equivalent angle measures so the angles are congruent.

The two angles are only congruent if Side PQ = Side PR.

Do you have a diagram?


Or, they're angles in an eqiliateral triangle.

if it says TrianglePQR is congruent to TrianglePRQ, In that order, that's also proof.

If you could show that sides PQ and PR and congruent, then the angles are also.

I diagram would help.

If these angles are both in the same triangle, then it would be an isosceles triangle. The angles opposite equal sides are equal.
