i'm older then her, she's 18. we live in the same house so its really sressful. she will not talk to me. i've done nothing to her. my brothers asked her why she wont speak to me and she said because i'm fake...i dont get that, i'm just me all the time. i've thought about writing her a letter but i'm not sure..she's my only sister and i dont want to live the rest of my life not speaking to her. any ideas what i could do?

she wont sit in the same room i'm in and she's a really angry girl. i've given her christmas gifts and she's tossed them back to me.i've tried talking to her but she gets mad..i just dont know what else to do.

I would write her a letter telling her that your sorry and asking her what you did to deserve this. I f she ask her why shes fake. Tell her that you don't want to live your life without your sister not speaking to you. and remind her of the good times. Hopefully that works!

Where is your mother? Where is your dad? Why do they allow this treatment to continue? Your sister may be depressed, mentally ill, taking drugs or being an idiot. She is certainly not being nice or sisterly or genuine. It is not normal to live with anyone for 3 years and not talk.
Get your parents to help you. Tell them how this hurts you, and that she is being nuts. Offer to go to family counseling to get past this. Tell a counselor who has heard everything. She might be able to give you some insight.
My sister and I were really close as kids, and for the past 40 years we hardly ever talk. I have tried and tried to get her to stay involved. I write her and send her e-mails and presents. We live 90 miles apart and never see each other. I get a xmas card with her signature on it.
I figure she can't give me what she doesn't have. She has the relationship with me she wants. I think it is very sad.
When you think about it, why would you want a relationship with someone who is so awful? She needs to want a relationship with you for it to work. She has to be willing to treat you with respect and kindness. She is not willing.
Sometimes the truth hurts. I'm sorry for you and her. Good luck.

Maybe you can get an Adult to sit you 2 down to talk things out!!!! There is a deep rooted reason why she is angry. Maybe it is something that you do not know about.

I think you have done the most you can, i can't see you being treated like that over and over, you have feelings too. give her some reverse physicology, pretend she doesn't bother you anymore. go on with life laugh, play whatever, let her feel what she has been doing to you. she'll realize and think about it. then all of sudden she'll speak to you.

Give her the movie "In Her Shoes". If you haven't seen it, watch it yourself. Me and my sister weren't exactly close, but it makes you realize what being a sister is all about.

why dont ya go to her and sit down and dont move or leave the room until she gives you some answers-------if she gets up and walks out--follow her until she is so sick of you doing so she talks to you.

she has her own problems ,sometimes younger sisters are jalous. Maybe she thinks your parents take care of you more than her, this problem happens SO much with younger children.
