I join YMCA because of thier popular BodyPump program.
I wonder if $55 a month is appropriate for this class.
I take 2 classes per week.

if you are able to access other services for the $55 you are getting a great deal & this is standard (at least swim and rec. time)

if it is just for the BodyPump program your fee should be $40.

I think YMCA memberships are way to expensive. What is worse I think they recieve dontaions of money.

yeah definently not worth it, i never liked my YMCA, they think they can charge soooo much just because the name in the front of their building, you should check out priced at some other gym

no its a good price very reasonable prices and you can get a membership at 26.00s or a membership for your family which is 46.00s etc. check it at www.ymca.com
