Two numbers are relatively prime when their greatest common divisor is 1, so 15 and 8 are because the divisors of 15 are 1, 3, 5, and 15 and the divisors of 8 are 1, 2, 4, and 8, so the greatest common factor is 1

The product of powers rule is: (x^a)(x^b)=x^(a+b)

The quotient of powers rule is: x^a/x^b=x^(a-b), for all x except for 0

the product of powers is the multiplication of powers i.e.
x^2 time x^3 = x^5
you add the exponents

the quotient of powers is the division of powers i.e.
x^5 / x^4 = x^2
you subtract the exponents

reletively prime is referring to two numbers that will not divide evenly by any number (besides 1) i.e.
10 and 33
