You're not alone. Paula' s a ditz, Randy's a fake, and Simon Cowell is a meanish, over the top moron. This is the same show that kicked off Jennifer Hudson and Frenchie-the best singers on there! The show is so overrated!

It seemed very cheesy before I started watching it. I hate to jump on they hype. I never ever watched melrose place or beverly hills 90210 when it was on. But after watching it, you really do start rooting for one of the singers and disliking some of the others.

I hear ya..I dont like American Idol except the first few days where you get to laugh at all the really bad singers..

I'm with ya. I just don't understand what all the hype is about. I've never watched a full episode of it, and I don't intend to ever in my lifetime.

I likethe first few shows when they have all the ridiculous funny people singing. After that, I can't watch it anymore.

umm yea everyone luvs the show!! idk y some ppl dont like it but its cool if u dont like it...it would be really annoying if it was on all year round but its only on like 3 months out of the whole yr. i just watch the auditions cuz there funny and closer to the end.
