i plugged it in to charge it. and theres a lighning bolt sign through the battery on the screen. what does this mean?

It means it is charging and when it is not there it is done charging

don't worry that's just means that its charging. if u see a picture of a plug then that means its charged good luck with ur ipod sweetie

i think the lightning bolt means that it's charging or it is fully charged. either one means it has sumthin to do with the battery.

That's the ipod's "charging" icon. It's normal and nothing to be worried about.

it means that your ipod is being charged..

if it blinks..then its charging..

if it doesnt..then its done
