The early "signs" of pregnancy are the same as the signs of your period coming -- think about it, early on, you're dealing with basically the same hormonal issues. So, for instance, you *can* (but won't necessarily):

have swollen breasts
have tender breasts
be moody/emotional
run warm (progesterone causes your body temp to increase slightly)
feel bloated
feel hungry
feel tired
feel gassy
have heartburn
headaches
constipation
etc.

You also may experience breast changes -- typically, the aureola will darken and you might also notice that your breasts seem more "veiny"

You may have to urinate more (in later pregnancy this is because of pressure on the bladder, but it can happen early too, because of progesterone levels)

You may also feel a bit crampy -- like menstrual cramps, usually. Severe cramping is not normal, however, and at any stage in pregnancy warrants a call to your doctor ASAP.

While the signs themselves are hardly unique to pregnancy, sometimes, in some women, there's quite simply a qualitative difference that's hard to ignore. It would be an understatement to say that the only times I experienced extreme fatigue were in early (or later!) stages of pregnancy; nonetheless, there was a qualitative difference to that feeling of exhaustion that -- for me -- was a tip off. (And yet, when I was pregnant with twins, I didn't have the same early "tip off" -- you never can tell!)

Among all the varied websites and message boards about pregnancy is one at http://www.tcoyf.com -- there's a FAQ of top "non-pregnancy" signs and one of top "pregnancy" signs...and the lists are identical. In other words: you can have the same symptoms and end up with a positive pregnancy test as you can ending up with a regular period.

So, you know, the best "sign" is a positive test.

Your boobies are sore
Slight spotting or cramping
Darkening areolas
Extreme fatigue

Well the biggest sign is actually missing your period. But you can also experience nausea or throwing up, heartburn, horomone imbalance (like your pms-ing) like being grouchy or emotional, you may also have a slight discharge; you can go to www.google.com and search under pregnancy symptoms and they have websites that just have lists that go on forever about pregnancy symptoms.

Some of the signs are similar to PMS. You may feel bloaded and or crampy/cranky. Your breast will feel sore and maybe even appear larger. Back aches and muscle soreness. You could feel tired also. If you think that you are and you want to be then good luck.

Fatigue and sleeping. I mean dead tired, it's like you HAVE to sleep. Also, if you exercise, you will become exhausted much faster. Every pregnancy is different, this was the case with mine.
