For those of you who have MP3 players how many songs can your MP3 hold if it says 2GB.

It depends on how much space each song takes up.

Lets take 5Mb as an example. If each song takes up 5Mb of space and you have a 2Gb mp3 player - (2Gb = 2000Mb). 2000 divided by 5 give you 400. So by this example you could have 400 5Mb mp3's on your player.

HOWEVER, all mp3 players have to have software on it which takes up part of the memory so you won't have the full 2Gb for songs.

500 songs. i have a book that tells me how mugh a gb holds.
it also depends on how long the songs are.
