Old song from Days of our Lives?

There was a song played for Rex and Mimi right about the time he was asking her to marry him and I think it was after she found out she was pregnant. He had planned a romantic dinner for her. It was a man singing and it was something like he didnt have a lot to offer but his love or something like that. Can anyone help? Thanks so much!

Was it Beautiful Soul by Jesse Mccartney or Couldn't Love you More by Edwin Mccain? Those are the only ones I can think of...hope it helps!
